An honour as part of the Queen’s New Year’s Honours 2022
Our heartiest congratulations to Milton Keynes Hindu Association (Regd. Charity 802344), President, Vinod Pankhania who has been awarded a Medal of the Order of the British Empire (BEM), for charitable services to the community of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
On notification of the honour, he said “I am so humbled by this totally unexpected honour. I owe it entirely to the great efforts of the Trustees and the executive committees – past and present, together with the unfailing support of the Hindu and wider MK communities and all our local Partner organisations”
The inauguration of the first Hindu temple and community centre which was ” a dream come true for the community of Milton Keynes” would not have been possible without this support.
More to follow…..
